CYF Goal

To seek the pleasure of Allah Ta’aala, creating the true love of Allah Ta’aala and Rasullullah (S.A.W) so that we may be
successful in this world and the Hereafter.

CYF Aims

  • To provide an educational, social, spiritual and moral environment, and to provide physical activities
  • To motivate Muslim youth to live by and serve Islam and to identify themselves as Muslims
  • To be an active participant in the Islamic movement
  • To empower and prepare Muslim youth to be future Muslim leaders
  • To create a nurturing learning environment in which basic core knowledge of Islam is provided
  • To provide an intellectual forum in which self-expression, discussion, and analysis is encouraged
  • To establish a social environment that will encourage healthy interaction in an atmosphere of mutual trust, respect,  love, care and  camaraderie
  • To foster a Muslim identity, built with high self esteem and a positive self concept
  • To guide and encourage the Muslim youth to apply Quraaanic principles to their daily lives
  • To instil in the Muslim youth universal values of honesty, respect, responsibility and self discipline
  • To inspire and prepare the Muslim  youth to become Allah-conscious leaders, guided by justice, driven by ethics and empowered by knowledge
  • To preserve the identity of the Muslim youth
  • To bond a relation between the youth and the Ulama
  • To guide our youth through the social and moral problems and difficulties faced by them today.
  • To Establish a youth center, youth help-line and a youth da’wah project.

CYF Financial Structure

  • CYF remunerates all part time and full time staff
  • CYF calls on for volunteers on activities that do not generate income
  • CYF accepts Lillah contributions for daily running expenses
  • CYF accepts Zakaat to subsidize learners who cannot afford any activity
  • CYF relies on monthly contributions, e.g. R500.00, R 1000.00, R1500.00 etc… for it’s monthly running expenses. This eases the process of collection rounds, and allows for progression of work
  • CYF embarks on  programs that generate income so that the organization can be self-sufficient
