Home THOUGHT PROVOKING... AnonyMouse Hope

Life sucks. It absolutely sucks. Why did she have to get the handsome guy? Why did he have to get the hot girl? Why does his Qiraat sound so nice? Why does her cupcakes come out so nice whilst mine come out like they are trampled? Why can I not find a marriage partner? Why can I not be happy like they are? Why?Why?Why? Its common for us to feel, or at most hear this from our friends or family. We feel sad, or despondent...that nothing in our lives is going correctly. In light of this, I will attempt in sha Allah to focus on this in the next few posts. However, one thing that I must state is that the common theme from it is: 'Turn to Allah!' I can relate to you story after story, personal and family's-of how things have changed for the better when we turned to Allah. This is not a fairytale. May Allah grant me the ability to write what is beneficial for His pleasure, and also make me steadfast on this action. Applying for Citizenship(Adapted from Inspirations Volume 2) A Muslim went to a certain country as a refugee and he implored the authorities to grant him citizenship. All the doors were shut despite manymany attempts, even with the aid of his 'contacts'. One day he met a righteous scholar, and he give him his story. The scholar then said to him " Supplicate to your Lord, for He is the One Who makes things easy". This meaning is extracted from the following Hadith: 'If you ask, then ask Allah, and if you seek help, seek help from Allah. And know that if the nation were to gather together in order to give you some benefit, they would not bring you any benefit, except with what Allah has written for you.' This man said, By Allah, I stopped going to people for help or for intercession, and instead, I began praying to Allah in the LAST THIRD OF THE NIGHT just as the scholar had toldme to do. Just before the break of dawn, I would call to Allah and invoke Him for relief. Only a few dayspassed, after which, I submitted an application for citizenship without any person of positions interceding for me. A few days later, it was APPROVED! My beloved brothers and sisters, think about this. How often are we faced with problems in our lives. When somebody is sick, we only run to doctors-if we are lucky then we make Dua to Allah. When we are not getting any proposals, what do we do? W resort to going to 'Aamils' who are not authentic, or sangomas to 'bring back lost lover', or fortune tellers! This is a major sin, have we even turned to Allah sincerely or continously? Or in most cases we turn to the West, where we try and woo a girl or a hot boy, then date them-all in the name of marriage. Why don't we turn to Allah-make Dua to Him? Instead of engaging in courtship? Allah always come to our assistance, its just we are too lazy to go knocking. Whatever our problem, be it work, be it family, be it a lost sock-turn to Allah! This is the only way out of our problems. No matter how much we keep up with the Kardashians, no matter how much we imitate the freaks of Gossip Girl, no matter how much we retweet Drake-we will NEVER find sukoon or happiness. As of tonight, when we are in bed and thinking of all the things we want let us remember what Allah says: ' Is there someone who is asking, andI will give it to him. Is there someonewho is seeking forgiveness, and I willforgive him. Is there anybody supplicating, and I will answer him.' Allah says this during the last third ofevery night! 'When we ask man, we end up having to make our own plan, When we ask Allah, our lives are filled with Barakah!' REQUEST FOR DUAS FOR THE FOLLOWING: *. All those awaiting results *. All those brothers seeking employment, may Allah Ta'Ala grant them Halaal income and make them assets to the Muslim Ummah *. All those who are sick *. Palestine, Chechnya, Bosnia, Pakistan, or wherever the Muslim Ummah is suffering *. All those who have passed away *. Good pious wives/husbands and children who are the coolness of our eyes *. ME *. All those who are getting married

Hadeeth Newsflash

Reported by K`ab bin Malik (RA): Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Two hungry wolves sent in the midst of a flock of sheep are no more destructive to them than a man's greed for wealth and fame is to his Deen.'' [At-Tirmidhi]
